Who this course is for

Schools, nurseries and childcarers who want a blended route — online theory completed in advance, then a focused practical session. Suited to settings that want to reduce time off the floor while still getting hands-on practice.

Practical focus

Learners complete the online theory component first, then join a hands-on practical attendance session with paediatric manikins. The practical session is where confidence is built — real scenarios, real practice.

Delivery approach

Online theory completed in advance, plus a practical, in-person attendance session at your premises, UK-wide. Dates for the practical session are agreed on enquiry.

Pricing

£1,080 per onsite group course — for up to 12 learners. That's £90 per learner for a full group.

No VAT is added to these prices.

Learn the knowledge online. Build confidence in person.

Our blended paediatric first aid course combines preparation online with a practical training day at your premises, helping your team develop the knowledge and confidence to care for babies and children.

Prepare online

Complete six hours of online learning before your practical training day, fitting your study around your schedule.

Put learning into practice

Join your JACT Wellness trainer for six taught hours of face-to-face practice and assessment at your workplace, school or nursery. Breaks are additional to taught hours.

Twelve hours of learning in total, with one day together for practical training. £1,080 per group for up to 12 learners.

Course information

Plan your team training with clear information about learning time, assessment and certification. Start times and breaks are confirmed with your organisation; taught hours exclude breaks.

Duration
12 hours in total: 6 hours of online learning, completed before 6 hours of face-to-face practical training and assessment at your premises. Face-to-face taught hours exclude breaks.
Assessment
Online learning must be completed before the practical session. The full paediatric qualification requires successful practical and written assessment; joining instructions explain your approved pathway.
Certification
Successful completion of the full FAA Paediatric First Aid qualification leads to a certificate valid for three years. Online learning alone does not complete the qualification.

What you will learn

  • Paediatric first aider role and incident assessment
  • Infant and child CPR, choking, bleeding and shock
  • Childhood illnesses and allergic reactions
  • Injuries, burns, poisoning and environmental incidents

Certification depends on successful completion of the required learning and assessments. Please discuss any practical participation or access needs with us before booking.
