Practical focus
Practical, instructor-led learning that builds the confidence and practical skills to respond to a workplace first aid emergency. Hands-on practice with adult CPR manikins and realistic workplace emergency scenarios, rehearsing the immediate steps to take when someone is taken ill or injured at work.
Delivery approach
Delivered at your premises across Suffolk, Norfolk, Essex, Kent and Cambridgeshire and UK-wide, as a group session sized to your team. We come to you so your people learn in the environment they'll actually respond in.

£600 per onsite group course — for up to 12 learners.

Course information
Plan your team training with clear information about learning time, assessment and certification. Start times and breaks are confirmed with your organisation; taught hours exclude breaks.
- Duration
- Minimum 6 taught hours, usually delivered in one day. Session times and breaks are confirmed with your organisation.
- Assessment
- Ongoing practical scenarios, with related oral questions from the trainer. Learners must successfully demonstrate the required skills.
- Certification
- The FAA EFAW qualification is valid for three years from achievement. Certification follows successful assessment.

- Assessing an incident and calling for help
- Unresponsive casualties, recovery position and adult CPR
- Seizures and choking
- External bleeding and shock
- Minor injuries, burns and scalds
